Looking for something to read, hmmm???

Timebound - Rysa Walker

Brief endorsement, since I'm a slacking slacker who slacks and haven't been on BL in ages, but I really wanted to share this book since it was such a delightful surprise. In fact, I might post this on *whispers* Goodreads  too, if that tells you anything...

So, I really want to write a review of this, but I have no idea when I'm going to get to it, so I thought I'd do this as a little place holder.

My rationale for why I'm putting this little bit in is I really wanted to rate and say how much I enjoyed this book. I got it for free through Kindle First, one of those "eh, why not" moments and I was so pleasantly surprised. Though I do have a weakness for time travel stories, fair warning, I really enjoyed it. I mean I really, really enjoyed it. It's a very clever premise, I really like the characters, the setting is fun and the whole story just whipped along.

So that y'all know, there appears to

be a love triangle coming, though it hasn't happened yet, it's pointing the way

(show spoiler)

and I've read some other reviews that found inconsistencies with the timelines/time travel, but honestly, I'm terrible at catching them, particularly when I'm enjoying the book so much I'm racing through it. It is part of a series, but the ending isn't too cliffhangery or rather it didn't make me crazy the way some have (I'm looking at you, Ruby Red - Kerstin Gier  trilogy).

That said, I think Timebound - Rysa Walker  is totally worth checking out. Good news, the sequel is due in October, so not too bad a wait, whoot!

eta: release date, got it all kinds of wrong, my bad. Also, grammar is your friend, but apparently a distant one of mine, sorry about that.
